This resource pack offers gritty and adventure-driven designs, which are made to overhaul your game completely. Play Minecraft as usual and have an experience like no other. At the same time, enjoy this beautiful world created by Conquest. It provides you with this rustic and fantasy-based resource pack that will make you feel like a true hero in legendary stories. Many textures and visual elements have been borrowed directly from the John Smith pack. Still, others have been remade to provide an overwhelmingly new experience in the game. One of the prominent notes from long-time fans of the Conquest resource pack is the nature of the designs. Many appear worn down or weathered, like a long-standing castle and environment hit by harsh weather or mythical monsters. This gives the game a new feeling, like a different version of Skyrim or The Witcher. Those all-time classic triple-A games have toned the path for the gaming genre, possibly forever. The designers of the Conquest had the same goal, redefining Minecraft's visuals forever. I would also recommend Optifine, so the chances of the game crashing and other problems popping in are low.

Conquest — Installation

In order for Conquest to function properly, the Optifine Mod must be pre-installed. Without it, some resource pack features like HD textures, random mobs, connected textures, and so on will not work!

Download the texture pack, you should get a .zip file
Open the folder to which you downloaded the file
Copy the .zip file
Open Minecraft
In Minecraft, click on “Options”, then “Resource Packs”
Choose “Open resource pack folder”
Paste the file into the resourcepacks folder in the Minecraft directory
Go back to Minecraft, the resource pack should now be showing up in the list

Fix: Conquest Resource Pack Not Showing Up

Verify that the zip file you downloaded has a valid folder structure.
Ensure that the following folders and files are present in the root directory of the downloaded zip file:
- Example_Pack.zip
  - 📁 assets
  - 📄 pack.mcmeta
  - 🖼️ pack.png
If you have only one folder in the root directory of the downloaded .zip file, make sure to copy that folder in the resourcepacks folder inside of the Minecraft directory.
