ModernArch Realism Texture Pack 1.19.2 → 1.14

With the amount of already existing resource packs for Minecraft and their number growing, it is not rare that a user is unimpressed with the quality of one of the many free downloadable packs. Developed by PackMinecraft(Designio Graphics), the ModernArch Realism texture pack is one of the few that keeps what it promises. Suppose you want to enhance your visual Minecraft gaming experience. In that case, you are at the right place, because ModernArch Realism hits the spot, with the help of one special feature that changes all visuals in the game: the use of real images. This may sound simple and dumb at first, but if you think about it, professional handmade details and photographs in blocks do fit the game if you want to upgrade it visually. No more cartoonish and weird-looking textures, instead, sharpened edges and depth in different items. Depth is the most noticeable in buildings. The colors are different from other resource packs as well because ModernArch Realism uses more subdued colors, which are more pleasing to the eye. The lighting effects are beautiful, they practically stand out from the overall picture, and I could recommend ModernArch Realism based on the lightning alone. The graphics look the best in 512x512 resolution, but there is an option for a lower resolution, 128x128, so lower-end setups can easily run ModernArch Realism.

ModernArch Realism — Installation

In order for ModernArch Realism to function properly, the Optifine Mod must be pre-installed. Without it, some resource pack features like HD textures, random mobs, connected textures, and so on will not work!

  1. Download the texture pack, you should get a .zip file
  2. Open the folder to which you downloaded the file
  3. Copy the .zip file
  4. Open Minecraft
  5. In Minecraft, click on “Options”, then “Resource Packs
  6. Choose “Open resource pack folder
  7. Paste the file into the resourcepacks folder in the Minecraft directory
  8. Go back to Minecraft, the resource pack should now be showing up in the list
Fix: ModernArch Realism Resource Pack Not Showing Up
  • Verify that the zip file you downloaded has a valid folder structure.
  • Ensure that the following folders and files are present in the root directory of the downloaded zip file:
    • Example_Pack.zip
      • 📁 assets
      • 📄 pack.mcmeta
      • 🖼️ pack.png
  • If you have only one folder in the root directory of the downloaded .zip file, make sure to copy that folder in the resourcepacks folder inside of the Minecraft directory.
    • Example_Pack.zip
      • 📁 Example_je-1.19.X-0.2
