Jolicraft Texture Pack 1.19.2 → 1.8

The Jolicraft Texture Pack is one of Minecraft's most outstanding and weird-looking resource packs. Most of the packs aim to make the game as realistic as possible while maintaining Minecraft's classic blocky look. Now Jolicraft has no such goals. The classic blocky look is still visible, but not one bit realistic. First of all, Jolicraft is rich with custom-made designs for plenty of blocks, animals, entities, items, and even animations. A few things were simplified, for example, the GUI, the armor, health, and hunger bars, which were replaced with different-sized circular shapes. This might sound a little weird at first, but after a while, you realize that it adds more beauty to the user experience. It is visible that some designs were inspired by other games, like the Ghast from Terraria. With a relatively low resolution of 16x, Jolicraft can be enjoyed by all players, even the ones with lower-end pc setups. The pack works efficiently up to the latest version of the game, and future updates are almost guaranteed for Jolicraft, which also sounds interesting. They should include new block types like granite, new sea guardians, and more, so if you want to know more, be sure to check it out.

Jolicraft — Installation

In order for Jolicraft to function properly, the Optifine Mod must be pre-installed. Without it, some resource pack features like HD textures, random mobs, connected textures, and so on will not work!

  1. Download the texture pack, you should get a .zip file
  2. Open the folder to which you downloaded the file
  3. Copy the .zip file
  4. Open Minecraft
  5. In Minecraft, click on “Options”, then “Resource Packs
  6. Choose “Open resource pack folder
  7. Paste the file into the resourcepacks folder in the Minecraft directory
  8. Go back to Minecraft, the resource pack should now be showing up in the list
Fix: Jolicraft Resource Pack Not Showing Up
  • Verify that the zip file you downloaded has a valid folder structure.
  • Ensure that the following folders and files are present in the root directory of the downloaded zip file:
    • Example_Pack.zip
      • 📁 assets
      • 📄 pack.mcmeta
      • 🖼️ pack.png
  • If you have only one folder in the root directory of the downloaded .zip file, make sure to copy that folder in the resourcepacks folder inside of the Minecraft directory.
    • Example_Pack.zip
      • 📁 Example_je-1.19.X-0.2
  • Feel free to leave a comment if none of these solutions work for you😢
